We are looking for a compassionate resident medical officer (NICU) to provide medical care to newborns admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit.
- The RMO will assess neonatal patients, monitor clinical progress, assist neonatologists during procedures, coordinate investigations, and ensure timely implementation of treatment plans.
- The role includes maintaining accurate patient documentation, interpreting laboratory results, communicating with parents, and ensuring adherence to neonatal care protocols and infection control practices.
- The ideal candidate should have strong neonatal care knowledge and the ability to manage emergency situations effectively.
Roles & Responsibilites
- Assess and monitor neonatal patients in the NICU.
- Assist neonatologists during procedures and emergencies.
- Review laboratory and diagnostic reports.
- Prescribe medications under consultant supervision.
- Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, and blood bank services.
- Maintain neonatal medical records and discharge summaries.
- Attend neonatal emergencies and Code Blue calls.
